Leeds Rhinos forward Jamie Jones-Buchanan admitted he enjoyed his World Cup journey as he went over to Australia and New Zealand as a fan but says he is glad to be home in the cold and looking forward to a new season.

The Rhinos stalwart begins his 20th pre-season with the club having made his debut in the 1999 season and he said the trip to Australia had been an eye opening experience. He says it has whetted his appetite for the World Club Challenge at Melbourne Storm on 16th February as he looks to achieve something he has never done before and beat the Aussies in their own backyard.
