An exciting opportunity has been created within the Leeds Rhinos administration team for a Digital Content Co-ordinator to work with the club’s media and marketing teams on new and innovate ways to develop the club’s brand. Digital Content Co-Ordinator 

The successful candidate will have proven experience in producing creative, engaging content and a track record of undertaking a wide range of digital communication activities and will report to the Head of Media and PR.  The role will involve working with three brands: Leeds Rhinos, Leeds Rhinos Foundation and Yorkshire Carnegie.

Key Responsibilities: 
• Assist in the development of content for the businesses social media platforms by generating ideas and creating online content
• Working closely with Leeds Rugby’s media and marketing teams to develop innovative and creative social media content plans, driving continued growth in Leeds Rugby’s social media fanbase and engagement rate.
• Work closely with the media team to create engaging multimedia content including photos and video from inception to distribution
• Generating ideas and creating editorial content for content for social channels across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube
• Working with the media and marketing team to coordinate social media marketing campaigns
• Analysis and reporting on effectiveness of campaigns to maximise results
• Keeping up to date with social media trends, innovations, and best practice
• Understanding of the role that social media plays in sports fan engagement
• Responsible for editing and delivering content to meet required deadlines
• Creating and managing video content for the stadium’s big screen for match days
• Home match day support role

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
• Self-motivated individual who can work under own initiative
• Well-organised and able to demonstrate a high level of accuracy
• Creative and pro-active to produce engaging content across the clubs’ social media channels
• Willingness to adapt and respond to the changing and varied needs of the business.
• A strong showreel showcasing your video editing skills
• Experience creating marketing content for social media
• A strong creative eye, capable of capturing the essence of a brand in a short video Substantial video editing experience
• Excellent copywriting, proofreading and editing skills, evidencing a clear understanding of social media tone of voice.
• Competent usage of photoshop for social media asset creation.
• Expert in video filming and editing content
• Experience of delivering social media marketing campaigns
• Ability to spot establishing social media trends.
• Knowledge of digital Marketing is essential

Desired Skills
• Level 3 or above in media or video related qualification
• Extensive knowledge in Adobe software
• Capacity to create animation and title sequences using After Effects
• Using Premiere Pro to edit and colour grade
• Knowledge of the latest video and multimedia technologies
• Basic understanding of using DSLR cameras

This is a full-time role of 40 hours per week and you must be flexible in your commitment to this role as you will be expected to work evenings, weekends and match days. The salary will be dependent on the successful applicant’s skills, experience and qualifications.

The role will be based at Emerald Headingley Stadium, St Michael’s Lane, Headingley, Leeds LS6 3BR.
