What's on this week

This week, four days of action involving our Rhinos sides sees our Men's and Women's, Netball and Under-18s Academy teams all take to the field/court.

The Under-18s kick off the action at Stanningley on Thursday, before the Rhinos first team travel to the Stade Gilbert Brutus to take on Catalans. Sunday sees a huge clash between last year's Betfred Women's Super League Grand Finalists Leeds and York, whilst Leeds Rhinos Netball host Saracens Mavericks in Sheffield as the Netball Super League season intensifies.

Sunday is also set to be huge day for thousands of runners and supporters as the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon returns for 2024!

Thursday 9th May

Leeds Rhinos Under-18s vs Wakefield Trinity Under-18s

The Rhinos Under-18s hope to build on their win over Hull FC as Tony Smith's side host Wakefield Trinity Under-18s at Stanningley, 7pm.

The young Rhinos produced an impressive performance against the black and whites to beat Francis Cummins' side 30-22, thanks to tries from Joe Butterfield, Joe Diskin, Jacob Stead and Presley Cassell. Thursday night sees them return to home soil at the Arthur Miller Stadium to take on a Wakefield side that also have one win in four matches this year.

Entry at Stanningley is £5 for adults and £3 for concessions.

Friday 10th May

Leeds Rhinos Netball vs Saracens Mavericks

As the remaining rounds of the Netball Super League season count down, Leeds Rhinos Netball host Saracens Mavericks at Sheffield's EIS, FCP 7.30pm.

The match is important with both sides coming into round 13 still in with a chance of making fourth place in the league standings. Tickets for this game are sold out but if you would like to join the waiting list for tickets please email tickets@therhinos.co.uk.

Saturday 11th May

Catalans Dragons vs Leeds Rhinos

Coming into this week on the back of back-to-back wins in the Betfred Super League, Leeds Rhinos head to Perpignan to take on Catalans Dragons in round 11 of the Betfred Super League, KO 5.30pm (UK time).

The Rhinos, who moved to within two points of the Dragons with victory over London at AMT Headingley, look to get their second win over the Dragons this season after an 18-10 win at home in March. Rohan Smith helped guide the side to victory in golden point and in the play offs during the 2022 season, but Steve McNamara's side has won the last two regular-season meetings.

Tickets for the game are available to buy from the club until 3pm on Tuesday 7th May, but for fans that can't make it to Perpignan, the game will be available to watch on Sky Sports.

Sunday 12th May

Rob Burrow Marathon Day!

The second Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon takes place this Sunday as thousands of marathon and half marathon runners hit the streets of Leeds.

Honouring Leeds Rhinos legend Rob Burrow CBE, the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon epitomises the comradery that running provides and gives participants of all abilities and backgrounds the opportunity to run alongside one another in a fitting tribute to the former sportsman.  

Once again, this year’s marathon will again start and finish at the world-renowned AMT Headingley Rugby Stadium. Once the starter’s gun goes, the circular marathon route will take in some of Leeds’ most scenic countryside and outer suburbs. Journeying around Woodhouse Moor before travelling up through the outer suburb of Headingley, participants will then travel through going through the scenic villages of Bramhope and Pool-in-Wharfedale.  


York Valkyrie vs Leeds Rhinos Women

Over at the LNER Community Stadium, Leeds Rhinos Women go head-to-head with York Valkyrie in a rematch of last year's Grand Final clash, kick off 12pm.

In the highlight clash of round three of the Betfred Women's Super League, the Rhinos sit top of the table after two rounds with wins over Huddersfield and Warrington and look to continue their form ahead of the Challenge Cup semi finals next week. York, who claimed their maiden trophy when they beat Leeds 16-6 in last year's Final, have also started the year with back-to-back wins against St Helens and Barrow.

Tickets for the game are available to buy online here under 'Visiting Fans Tickets'. Tickets are for unallocated seating and are priced at £15 for adults, £10 for concessions and free for Under-16s. The game is part of a double header that sees York Knights take on Sheffield in the 1895 trophy afterwards too.
