1998 – Leeds Rhinos 44 St Helens 16
Leeds faced St Helens in the play offs for the first time in 1998 and produced a comprehensive performance at Emerald Headingley. It was a night for the wingers as Francis Cummins scored a hat trick and Leroy Rivett crossed twice in the 44-16 victory. Brad Godden and Mark Glanville also got on the scoresheet.
2010 – Leeds Rhinos 28 St Helens 24
Injuries hampered St Helens in 2010 as the Rhinos secured a 28-24 win. With Kyle Eastmond and try scorer Leon Pryce forced off through injury, Leeds went on the attack, with a double from Danny McGuire plus scores from Brett Delaney and Chris Clarkson and Ryan Hall.
2013 – Leeds Rhinos 11 St Helens 10
With a place at Old Trafford up for grabs, only a point seperated the two sides in 2013. Joel Moon and Kallum Watkins’ tries were matched by Willie Manu, who locked the scores up at 10 all with minutes left in the match. As the clock ticked down, it would be Danny McGuire to win the game for Leeds….
2015 – Leeds Rhinos 46 St Helens 18
A hat trick from winger Ash Handley helped the Rhinos secure one of their biggest wins over St Helens on home soil. Ryan Hall, Kylie Leuluai, Kallum Watkins and Carl Ablett were also on the board as Leeds retained their spot at the top of the table.
2017 – Leeds Rhinos 24 St Helens 22
After losing by two points at the start of the season, Leeds beat the Saints by a conversion at Emerald Headingley. In a tightly contested fixture, tries from Joel Moon, Ryan Hall, Kallum Watkins and Stevie Ward ensured Leeds secured a thirteenth win of the season.
