A thousand more Leeds Rhinos fans will get the chance to stand in the all new Tetley’s South Stand from the Betfred Super League clash against Huddersfield Giants on Friday 8th June, kick off 7.45pm.

Emerald Headingley Stadium is in the middle of a £45 million redevelopment and so far this season, the famous South Stand terrace has been restricted to just 2,000 members however another section will now open for supporters with additional works meaning the whole stand is now covered and new exits have been created from the stadium.

Leeds Rhinos 2018 Season Members who are not currently positioned in the South Stand Terrace will have the priority chance to move into the Terrace from 9am on Friday 25th May until 5pm on Wednesday 30th May.

Each member who moves from their current position into the South Stand will be issued with a new season member’s card for the South Stand. In order to receive their new season member’s card, they must return their old cards. More information on how to return cards will be provided by the Customer Experience Team at the time of exchange.

During this priority period, Rhinos 2018 Supporter Members are also able to purchase South Stand Terrace tickets for all remaining Rhinos home matches until the end of July.

It is expected that all new positions for the South Stand will be taken by existing members however should any positions still be available, fans can purchase tickets from 9am on Thursday 31st May for all the June home matches which are all now on general sale.

Rhinos 2018 Season Members who wish to transfer to the South Stand should call 0371 423 1315, come down to the Leeds Rugby Store at Emerald Headingley Stadium or email tickets@leedsrugby.com with the names and customer numbers of the members who wish to move.

Commenting on the development Head of Customer Experience Sian Jones commented, “We have been working hard with our partners at Caddicks to make it possible for more fans to be able to stand in the South Stand during the season. As well as the extra space on the terrace, we have been able to produce a new exit route out of the stadium which will help with the additional capacity we have made available and avoid any congestion issues.’’
