It happens. You’ve booked your place for the season, you’re ready to support the lads as they go after another trophy and you are now marking the games on your calendar. But what happens? A member of the family, not naming names, has decided to get married on the same day Leeds take on Wigan.

But don’t worry – Leeds Rhinos have got your back and are proud to announce a ‘buy back’ scheme for 2018!

For the first time in club history, 2018 Season Members will have the opportunity to release their spot at Emerald Headingley Stadium for home matches they are unable to attend, and allow other fans to purchase their spot for individual games.

2018 Supporter Members and non-members will then be able to purchase any available seats or standing positions, subject to availability.

If your ticket is successfully re-sold then you will receive a match credit as a thank you. Match credits can be redeemed against away tickets, semi- final or final tickets or even your 2019 Season Membership!* (All match credits must be used by 31st December 2018).

Head of Marketing & Data, Matt Adams, said: “The buy backs scheme means that Season Members get even better value out of their membership this year. Season Members are at the heart of our club and now we are able to give something back to our most loyal fans who we appreciate can’t always make every home game. During a season with limited capacity at Emerald Headingley Stadium, the buy backs scheme ensures that we are making full use of our ticket availability at every game, and allowing as many fans as possible through our turnstiles to watch the Rhinos in action this year.”

With the 2018 Betfred Super League just underway, and 2 points under the Rhinos belt following a season opener win against Warrington Wolves, now is the perfect time to sign up for a Season Membership.

Secure your place on the Carnegie or West Terrace for every home League game at Emerald Headingley Stadium, and claim your free ticket for both Elland Road fixtures, with a 2018 Season Membership. Priced at £216 for adults, £144 for concessions (seniors 65 & over, students and under 21s) and from just £45 for juniors, Season Membership includes a whole host of benefits as well as entry to every home game. Find out more at tickets.therhinos.co.uk under the Memberships tab.

Sign up for Season Membership online at tickets.therhinos.co.uk or call the Rhinos Ticket Office on 0371 423 1315.

Get even more out of your Membership with a Gold upgrade, with a one-off payment of just £25. Gold Members get exclusive access to the post-match Long Bar at Emerald Headingley to watch the Man of the Match and Coaches’ Player interviews, a gift pack full of Rhinos goodies and an invite to the annual ‘meet the players’ event.

*Terms and conditions apply to the buy backs scheme.

How do I release a ticket on the buy backs scheme?

If you are a Season Member and would like to put your seat or standing position up for re-sale for any home League game at Emerald Headingley Stadium, please call the Ticket Office on 0371 423 1315, or put it up for re-sale online by logging into your Membership account at tickets.therhinos.co.uk.

When will my ticket be released?

When you put a ticket up for re-sale on the buy backs scheme, it will be made available for other supporters to purchase when 90% capacity is reached for that game.

Please note Leeds Rhinos are not able to guarantee the re-sale of your released seat.

How often can I release my ticket?

You can release your ticket and use the buy backs scheme for as many home League games as you like during the 2018 Betfred Super League season.

How can I find out if the ticket I released via the buy backs scheme has been sold for a specific match?

You can check this by logging into your online account at tickets.therhinos.co.uk.

Select ‘Buybacks’ from the ‘My Account’ menu on the top right hand side of the screen and follow the instructions to complete the process.

Alternatively, contact the Rhinos Ticket Office on 0371 423 1315 or email tickets@leedsrugby.com  and we will be happy to help.

When will I receive my match credit and how much will I get back?

A match credit will be credited to Season Members whose tickets have been resold.

Adult Season Members will receive a £10 match credit, Concession Season Members (seniors 65 & over, students, under 21s and disabled) will receive a £7 match credit and Junior Season Members (16 & under) will receive a £2.50 match credit.

A match credit will be credited to the Season Members’ account the next working day following the match in question, and it will be available to be used against future ticket purchases from that date.

Please note there is no match credit available for complimentary or helper Season Memberships.

What can I use my match credits for?

Match credits can be redeemed against away tickets, semi- final or final tickets or even your 2019 Season Membership! Terms and conditions apply.

All match credits must be used by 31st December 2018.

I have released my ticket via the buy backs scheme for a game I now want to attend, what can I do?

If your ticket is still available, you can re-book it by logging into your online account at tickets.therhinos.co.uk.

I have released my ticket on the buy backs scheme for a game I now want to attend but my ticket has been sold, what do I do?

If your ticket has already been sold to another supporter, you will not be able to claim it back.

You will need to purchase a match ticket for this game instead (subject to availability) at full price.

I originally released my ticket via the buy backs scheme; I changed my mind and purchased an alternative ticket as my position had already been sold. Will my card be activated for that match?

Once your ticket has been re-sold to another fan, your match day access card will be de-activated and you will receive a paper ticket for this game instead.

I released my ticket back to the Club via the buy backs scheme but it hasn’t been sold. Will I still receive a match credit?

No. You’ll only receive the match credit if your ticket has been purchased by another fan.

Can a disabled supporter return their ticket via the buy backs scheme?

Disabled Season Members are able to return their tickets via the buy backs scheme in exactly the same way as outlined above.

For wheelchair users, please note that both the wheelchair space and helper seat will be put back on the system for resale and they cannot be separated.

Please note there is no match credit available for complimentary or helper Season Memberships.
