After scoring a try in his first game as a junior, winger Ben Findlay knew rugby league was for him.

The Leeds-born outside back played for Guiseley Rangers, Hunslet Parkside, Shaw Cross Sharks, Batley Boys and Hunslet Warriors growing up before he was picked up for the Rhinos scholarship squad for 2021. He played in two games during his first season under head coach Mark Butterill and scored a try in both.

Despite spending most of his second Scholarship season on the sidelines through injury, he was offered a new deal that saw the winger step up into the Under-18s Academy in 2023.

Away from rugby, Findlay attends Leeds Building College.
