What's on this week

A full slate of matches this week sees the Rhinos first team, Women's, Netball, Wheelchair, Reserves, Scholarship and PDRL sides all in action across Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.

Rohan Smith's side are back in league action after the break for the Challenge Cup Final as they take on Hull FC, whilst Leeds Rhinos Women return from their Wembley trip to take on Huddersfield on Sunday. The Reserves and Netball sides also head to Hull - the latter playing their final game of the season against Manchester Thunder - plus James Simpson's Wheelchair side begin their league campaign on the road against Halifax.

Leeds Rhinos Under-16s Scholarship vs Huddersfield Giants Under-16s Scholarship

The week’s action kicks off on Thursday night as the Rhinos Under-16s play their penultimate home game of the year against Huddersfield Giants Under-16s at Stanningley, kick off 7pm.

With four rounds left in their season, Mark Butterill’s side look to maintain their winning streak in 2024 which has seen them score 34 tries and accumulate 182 points in their first four games against Hull FC, Castleford, Wakefield and Bradford.

The Giants come into Thursday with one win so far this season (a 20-16 results against Wigan in April).

Entry to Stanningley is £5 for adults and £3 for concessions

 

Saturday 15th June

Hull FC vs Leeds Rhinos

The resumption of the Betfred Super League sees Leeds Rhinos travel to the MKM Stadium for the second time this season as Rohan Smith’s side take on Hull FC in round 14, kick off 3pm.

The Rhinos won 18-12 against the Black and Whites at the end of April, thanks to two tries from Riley Lumb, and come into this round after a convincing win over Castleford. Hull on the other hand haven’t won in their last 11 games in all competitions.

Hull FC Reserves vs Leeds Rhinos Reserves

Before the men’s teams meet on Saturday, both Hull and Leeds’ Reserves sides go head to head at Hull RUFC at 12pm.

Tony Smith’s side have hit a run of form in their recent matches, as wins over London, Bradford and Castleford has pushed them up to third in the league table. Hull have also got four wins from seven matches so far this year and sit behind the Rhinos on points difference.

 

Leeds Rhinos Netball vs Manchester Thunder

The final round of the Netball Super League season pits the Rhinos up against Manchester Thunder in a clash of the roses at Hull's Allam Sports Centre, FCP 6pm.

Although Liana Leota's side can't break into the top four play off spots, it is a final chance for fans to cheer the team on in 2024 as preparations begin for the new-look 2025 season. Manchester can secure top of the table with a win, as Loughborough are three points behind, and eyes can move to an upcoming play off semi final against Severn Stars,

Leeds Rhinos PDRL vs Wigan Warriors & Wakefield Trinity

Saturday sees Leeds Rhinos PDRL in action too, this time at Wakefield Trinity for their third festival of the year.

As part of a day full of action, the Rhinos will take on hosts Wakefield as well as Wigan Warriors over the course of the day.

Huddersfield Giants Women vs Leeds Rhinos Women

Fresh from their Challenge Cup Final against St Helens, Lois Forsell's Rhinos side jump straight back into Super League action on Sunday as they head to Laund Hill to take on Huddersfield Giants, kick off 2pm.

Five games into the league season, Leeds are one of four teams with four wins and a loss so far, and sit top of the league standings on points difference alone. After running 68 points passed Barrow Raiders before their trip to Wembley, Forsell's side will look for a similar performance against the Giants, who got their first win before the Cup break when they beat Featherstone 30-10 on the road.

Halifax Panthers Wheelchair vs Leeds Rhinos Wheelchair

After the Challenge Cup's conclusion a fortnight ago, the Betfred Wheelchair Super League gets underway for the Rhinos on Sunday as they travel to Sedbergh Sports Centre to take on Halifax Panthers in an exciting round one match up, kick off 2pm.

The two previous Grand Final winners begin their campaign to return to this year's Final, along with Hull FC who take on reigning champions Wigan Warriors on Sunday too. 

Both Wheelchair Reserves sides for Leeds and Halifax will also play a curtain raiser to the main game. They kick off at 12pm.
