Match Pack: Round Four

The Rhinos meet Leigh Leopards tonight at Leigh Sports Village in round four of the Betfred Super League, kick off 8pm, as Rohan Smith's side look to build on their recent win over Catalans Dragons and the Leopards aim to pick up their first win of the season.

In brief
- Adrian Lam brings in two players for the visit of the Rhinos. Tom Amone missed the Saints defeat but is back in contention, along with Jacob Gannon who played for the Reserves last weekend against Rochdale Hornets.
- Missing out from last week's squad is Tom Briscoe and John Asiata who both left the field through injury against Saints.
- Four former Rhinos could be in action for the Leopards, including recent debutant Brad Dwyer, who is on a short term loan deal from Warrington. Owen Trout is one of the newest faces in the Leigh side, after moving from Huddersfield last year, plus Zak Hardaker and Robbie Mulhern are also former Leeds players.
- Hardaker in particular is three tries away from 150 career tries and 100 Super League tries.
- Edwin Ipape is ruled out with an long term MCL injury.

In brief
- The Leeds forward pack gets a boost as Mikolaj Oledzki is set to return after being ruled out with a shoulder injury for the Hull KR and Catalans trips.
- Derrell Olpherts is also named in place of Ned McCormack. It will be Olpherts' first outing since his try-scoring performance against Castleford at the end of 2023.
- Andy Ackers is in line to make his 250th career appearance as the hooker takes on the Leopards. Ackers has three appearances so far as a Rhino, having played 74 games for Salford from 2020 to 2023. Amongst his other domestic outings, he also has two caps for England.
- James Bentley joins James Donaldson and Sam Lisone in serving a suspension this week.
