Don't miss a home game in 2024!

Following today’s fixture announcement ahead of the 2024 season, there are plenty of dates for Rhinos fans to circle early on the calendar, including huge derby clashes, highlight Super League battles, and intriguing head-to-head.

With that in mind, here is a breakdown of when each club is coming to AMT Headingley Stadium so you don't miss a game:

Round 1: Salford Red Devils

For the first time since 2007, Leeds and Salford go head-to-head in the season opener on Friday 16th February, but it will be the first time that AMT Headingley has hosted a round one meeting between the clubs in the Super League era.

Both clubs sent players across the M62 during the off-season as Brodie Croft and Andy Ackers arrived in Leeds, whilst Nene Macdonald and Kai Morgan landed in Greater Manchester. Ackers and Croft are part of a new look spine under Rohan Smith, following the arrivals of Lachie Miller and Matt Frawley, but on the other side of the field, Paul Rowley has been able to retain Ryan Brierley, despite interest from elsewhere, along with adding Cade Cust, Joe Shorrocks and Matty Foster from neighbouring Wigan and St Helens, as well as Hull KR’s Ethan Ryan.

Last season saw Salford edge out the Rhinos in a 22-12 result before Leeds returned to winning ways in the return game. With new signings potentially out to impress, you don't want to miss the home opener.

Round 3 and 23: Catalans Dragons

Last year's Grand Finalists Catalans Dragons play the first of two matches at AMT Headingley in round three on Saturday 2nd March, before returning to Leeds in round 23 off the back of Magic Weekend.

The Dragons start life without Sam Tomkins, after the full-back hung up his boots in 2023, but strong recruitment from the NRL complements the arrivals of previous Grand Final winner Theo Fages and barnstorming prop Chris Satae to bolster Steve McNamara’s squad. After six years in Perpignan, from Dragons prop Mickael Goudemand arrives in the UK to pull on a Rhinos shirt ahead of the 2024 campaign, joining his French international teammate Justin Sangare in Rohan Smith's ranks. He will be one to watch out for at AMT Headingley, and also at the Stade Gilbert Brutus when the Rhinos travel to Perpignan on Saturday 11th May in round 11.

A fixture that has become more closely contested over recent years, 2023's second-half fightback win for Leeds over the Dragons was one of the top home performances of the season; Harry Newman leading the charge with two tries. This year looks as if it won't disappoint either as both sides aim to make strong starts three games into the new season, before picking up form with five matches to go when they meet in round 23.

Round 5: St Helens

Midway through March, Paul Wellens' St Helens side face the Rhinos in one of Super League's longest-running rivalries on 15th March.

Recent form against the Red Vee sees the Rhinos come into 2024 looking for their first home win over Saints since 2017, but last year’s Golden Point meeting gave fans drama and a nail-biting finish similar to Leeds and St Helens clashes of old.

As the club moves into life without its talismanic captain James Roby, Old Trafford is the destination again for St Helens. They acted fast to fill the holes of Roby and Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook by recruiting England international Daryl Clark and Catalans’ Matt Whitley, who refined his craft under McNamara’s regime. A notable feat is that the Red Vee have so far retained almost all of the side that lifted the World Club title in 2023; Roby, McCarthy-Scarsbrook and Will Hopoate being the absentees.

Round 7: Warrington Wolves

Following Leeds' Rivals Round clash away at Castleford the week before, Sam Burgess' Warrington Wolves kick off April with a visit to Leeds on Friday 5th.

The round seven meeting adds to an exciting first four home games for Leeds fans, following the visits of Salford, Catalans and Saints. With a host of new faces arriving alongside Burgess, including Zane Musgrove, Lachlan Fitzgibbon and former Rhino Brad Dwyer too, Rhinos fans will get their first look at the former England international and NRL Grand Final winner's new look team, plus previous Rhinos games against the Wolves at AMT Headingley have brought drama, whether that is tight scorelines (last year's 24-22 being a most recent example) stellar individual performances or a potential drop goal.

Don't forget that the Rhinos take on the Wolves at Magic Weekend this season too. Find out more.

Round 8: Huddersfield Giants

If you’re after games that are never too far away from one point finishes, Leeds versus Huddersfield cannot be missed on Friday 19th April.

AMT Headingley hosted two entertaining clashes between the clubs last year, including a close 18-17 clash and a barnstorming nine-try outing, both of which went in favour of the Rhinos. Fans will also remember that the 54-0 result capped off another fantastic MND Awareness Round too.

This year is set to be no different when Ian Watson's Giants arrive in round eight. Adam Clune headlines the big arrivals at the club for 2024, along with Hull FC pair Andre Savelio and Adam Swift, as Watson looks to guide his side back into Play-Off contention. Jack Murchie from Parramatta, Tom Deakin from Sydney and Hugo Salabio from Wakefield also add to a Giants side that lost eleven players at the end of 2023.

Round 10 and 16: London Broncos

The Broncos are back in Super League and Rhinos fans are treated to two visits by Mike Eccles' side on Friday 3rd May and Saturday 6th July.

After major squad investment helped the Broncos overcome Featherstone and Toulouse to secure their place back in the top tier, London will take on the Rhinos for the first time since 2019; a season in which both clubs went blow for blow. Leeds hope to put that season's 18-16 defeat behind them when they welcome the Broncos back to AMT Headingley twice, before going on the road in round 24 to the Cherry Red Records Stadium.

The 2024 Broncos boast experienced NRL players Corey Norman and Dean Whare in attack, as well as full-back Alex Walker, who scored 20 tries in 33 games last season. Rhys Kennedy is a major pickup for the forwards from Hull KR, plus James Meadows and Sadiq Adebiyi are two of four Championship players getting their opportunity in Super League next season. Wellington Albert is in line to face his former team, having made six appearances in 2019.

Round 13: Castleford Tigers

The West Yorkshire derby intensifies next season as Craig Lingard and Danny McGuire lead Castleford Tigers against the Rhinos at AMT Headingley at the end of May.

A resounding 46-0 defeat to Leeds at Headingley on the final day of the regular season ended the Danny Ward era at the Tigers, but now the Tigers look ahead to a fresh beginning under new staff. Ten new faces have come through the doors, including former Rhino Luke Hooley, as Castleford look to put last season behind them and push for a top-six spot. Meeting around the halfway point with the Rhinos sets up no better contest either.

Although the home meeting against the Tigers is a headline clash, Leeds' trip to The Mend-A-Hose Jungle in round six is part of the new look Rivals Round. Make sure you're on the terraces at Wheldon Road on Thursday 28th March too.

Round 15: Leigh Leopards

As summer continues, Leeds welcome Leigh Leopards back to AMT Headingley on Friday 21st June for a late-night clash under the floodlights, kick off 8pm.

2023's matchups both went in favour of the Leopards, who particularly came out on top in a low-scoring 13-6 result when they travelled to Leeds, but 2024 sees the Rhinos hope to return to winning ways with a clash with the Leopards two weeks after the Challenge Cup Final date.

Leigh have opted for a youthful approach to their recruitment for 2024 as they have already locked up seven young talents between the age of 20 and 26. Dan Norman and Lewis Baxter arrive from St Helens, Owen Trout swaps the Giants for Leopards, plus Wigan Academy product Kavan Rothwell and Warrington’s Jack Darbyshire (both 20) are the youngest recruits for next season. Matt Moylan's arrival earlier in the week though adds more firepower to partner the explosive Lachlan Lam in the halves.

Round 18: Hull KR

Following a successful first season under Willie Peters, 2024 has made Hull KR wait until round 18 for a trip to Leeds. Sandwiched in between away clashes in round two and 27 against the Robins, AMT Headingley hopes to host a similar outing to last year's golden point drama, despite the visitors coming out on top.

Peters and Hull KR have been one of the largest recruiters in Super League for next season as they bolster all areas. Peta Hiku is back in Super League as he joins Oliver Gildart as centre options, whilst Niall Evalds and Tyrone May will be new halves to join Mikey Lewis, who impressed for England during the Autumn International series against Tonga, and Jordan Abdull. Jai Whitbread and Kelepi Tanginoa come in from relegated Wakefield and former Rhinos Academy players AJ Wallace and Neil Tchamambe arrive at Sewell Group Craven Park too.

Round 21: Wigan Warriors

A highlight of every Super League calendar, Leeds saves one of the best matchups until last as Wigan Warriors arrive at AMT Headingley in the penultimate home fixture of the season.

The Warriors travel to Headingley in round 21, a week before Magic Weekend arrives at Elland Road, and it is a short turnaround as just a month later, the Rhinos travel to the DW on Friday 13th September.

Despite losing six talents, including Kai Pearce-Paul and Morgan Smithies to the NRL, Matt Peet and Wigan wasted little time in bringing in quick recruitment. Former Rhinos Sam Walters and Kruise Leeming will line up against their former club, along with Luke Thompson, who returns from the NRL, and Catalans pair Adam Keighran and Tiaki Chan.

Round 25: Hull FC

Hull FC are the final visitors to AMT Headingley on Friday 6th September, as three rounds remain in the season.

Tony and Rohan Smith go head to head for another year, having both won a game at AMT Headingley last season before Sam Lisone's hat trick performance got the Rhinos a win on the road. 2024 sees a reversal as the Rhinos travel east twice in rounds nine and 14 before hosting the black and whites in round 25 when the race for the playoffs could be at a crucial stage.

Similar to their cross-city rivals, nine new faces have added signings in all departments. NRL trio Jayden Okunbor, Franklin Pele and Herman Ese'ese add weight to the pack in the absence of Chris Satae, whilst recent New Zealand international Fa'amanu Brown and former Rhinos players Jack Walker and Liam Tindall bolster the back line; Walker returning to the club for the first time since his loan spell in 2022.
