Rhinos squad visit local primary schools

This week Leeds Rhinos players visited 23 primary schools across the city to welcome children back for the new school term.
The players were invited to join the pupils in assemblies for a Q&A and to help out in some P.E. lessons. Leeds-born player Ash Handley visited Horsforth Newlaithes Primary School and said it was a great opportunity to meet all the young students.
“It was nice to get into the school and a great experience to do a little Q&A and talk about the Rhinos,” said Handley. “Schools in Leeds have been brilliant this year in organising trips to the stadium and we love seeing the new generation of fans coming to support us. I remember coming to watch Leeds when I was younger and I loved the match days at Headingley. I didn’t know then that one day I would be lucky enough to be playing at the stadium and hopefully our visits have inspired some children to start playing rugby and to come watch us play.”
Here's some feedback from the visits:
Today the KS2 children had a special visit from the @leedsrhinos captain and two first team players. The children had the opportunity to ask questions and get some answers about how they got to their chosen career. pic.twitter.com/p8kdg0cFjd
