Club thanks match day support staff

Leeds Rhinos have confirmed that the Leigh supporter who received medical treatment at the stadium at the club’s game against Leigh Leopards was able to travel home with his family after the match. 

Leeds Rhinos Operations Director Sue Ward said: “I  would like to thank the G4S Events team for their quick thinking and action in requesting first aid for the Leigh fan that was taken ill at yesterday’s game.

“Crews from St John’s Ambulance and the Yorkshire Ambulance Service were at the scene with the crowd doctor, Dr Shah, within minutes ensuring the best possible care could be administered. I’m extremely grateful for everyone’s involvement and pleased that the spectator was discharged to travel home with his family.”
