Bumper crowd expected for MND awareness round

Rhinos return to action this Friday at Headingley for the big West Yorkshire derby clash with Huddersfield Giants in the Betfred Super League, kick off 8pm. This fixture is a  dedicated MND Awareness game, with Rob Burrow MBE and his family guests of honour at the clash.

Before the men's game, Leeds Rhinos Reserves are in action against Huddersfield Giants Reserves, kick off 5.30pm. Here’s what else supporters can expect on game day:

MND Awareness

Look out for representatives from the MND Association who will be dotted around the ground to provide information about their incredible work. There will also be a charity bucket collection, with all proceeds going to MNDA.

At 7.10pm supporters can watch 777 school children and teachers on the pitch for a Dance Spectacular dedicated to Rob. Macy and Maya Burrow will also be part of the performance, so make sure you give all our dancers a big cheer!

The Super League game will then be teams will be playing with a special edition match ball, which features the MND Association logo along with Rob’s signature and his iconic number 7. Jackson Burrow will be delivering the match ball before kick-off.

South Stand

As always, there will be balloon modellers, face painters and live music in the concourse from 5pm. Matt Horton will also run through the big match preview and latest team news at 6.40pm.

Happy Hour

It’s Happy Hour at all the stadium's public bars for the first hour of opening, meaning from 5pm until 6pm all draught pints are half price!*

After the game

The South Stand Bar will remain open until one hour after the final whistle.

Leeds Rhinos Gold Members can head up to the Long Bar to meet the players after the game by showing their Gold Season Membership cards but passes can also be purchased for £5 from Leeds Rhinos Ticket Office Transfer Windows inside the ground next to the Club Shop.

Tickets

Ticket prices start at £24 for adults, £16* for concessions and £12 for juniors, and 20% of match tickets sold will be donated to the MND Association. There is limited availability in most areas of the ground, so fans are advised to book early to avoid disappointment. 

Leeds Rhinos 2023 Season Members can still redeem their ‘Bring a Friend For Free’ promotional code, if they haven’t done already, to claim a free ticket to either of Leeds Rhinos’ home fixtures against Huddersfield Giants on Friday 23rd June or Leigh Leopards on Sunday 6th August.

The promotional code to redeem the ‘Bring a Friend for Free’ ticket was sent by email to each Season Member in February and a reminder was issued in March.
