2023 fixtures unveiled for Rhinos Reserves, Academy and Scholarship

Leeds Rhinos are pleased to announce fixtures for the club's Reserves, Scholarship and Academy teams for 2023.

The Rhinos open the Reserves competition on Thursday 2nd March against Bradford Bulls, before the reigning Academy Grand Final holders clash with Wakefield Trinity on home soil a week later in new head coach Tony Smith's first game in charge.

Like in 2022, the Academy and Reserves fixtures will be staggered bi-weekly so that Under-18s players get the chance to gain experience and continue their development in both competitions.

While the majority of home games will be played at local side Stanningley, Headingley Stadium will host eight youth matches next year. Six games will be double headers with the first team's Betfred Super League matches, as the club continues to give fans the opportunity to see the next generation of talent alongside the first team.

The double header game are as follows:

Friday 14th April - Reserves vs Hull FC (KO 5.30pm)/Rhinos vs Hull FC (KO 8pm)

Friday 5th May - U18s vs Castleford (KO 5.30pm)/Rhinos vs Salford Red Devils (KO 8pm)

Friday 23rd June - Reserves vs Huddersfield (KO 5.30pm)/Rhinos vs Huddersfield (KO 8pm)

Friday 14th July - U18s vs Hull KR (KO 5.30pm)/Rhinos vs Hull KR (KO 8pm)

Sunday 6th August - Rhinos vs Leigh (KO 3pm)/Reserves vs Leigh (KO 5.30pm)

Sunday 20th August - Reserves vs Warrington (KO 5.30pm)/Rhinos vs Warrington (KO 8pm)

Mark Butterill's Scholarship squad begin their eight-game season at the end of March with a trip to face Hull KR at Sewell Group Craven Park. They will also get the chance to play on the Headingley pitch against London Broncos on Saturday 1st April (KO 1pm) and Huddersfield Giants on Wednesday 14th June (KO 7pm).
