Leeds Rhinos star Stevie Ward has been cleared to play in Saturday night’s Betfred Super League Grand Final just a week after dislocating his shoulder.

Leeds Rhinos star Stevie Ward has been cleared to play in Saturday night’s Betfred Super League Grand Final just a week after dislocating his shoulder.

The England squad member revealed he spent an agonising night in hospital after medical staff were initially unable to relocate his shoulder because of the extent of the damage suffered in a tackle. He has also revealed that in the darkest moments that he consider whether he could go on with his rugby career if he missed another big final with the Rhinos through injury. Thankfully he has been cleared to play and will now line up against Castleford Tigers on Saturday night.
