Wakefield Trintity U19 v Leeds Rhinos U19 Match Action

Two tries from half back Callum McLelland helped Leeds Rhinos U19s to a 30-38 win against Wakefield Trinity U19s at the Mobile Rocket Stadium.

Liam Tindall, Iwan Stephens and Sam Moorhouse all crossed in the first half, along with McLelland, as the Rhinos took a 12-24 lead but a second half fightback saw Trinity come to within a try of taking the lead.

The returning Lewis Delaney, who has spent the last four months on the sidelines, scored his first try for the Under 19s and a second score for McLelland helped keep Leeds’ advantage. A penalty goal from Stephens on the full time whistle finished any chance of a Wakefield comeback; Rob Burrow’s side moving into second place with a 30-38 win.
