Support continues for Rhinos legend Rob Burrow
Support for Leeds Rhinos legend Rob Burrow continues to flood in with the online fund heading towards £200,000 in just a week since it was launched before Christmas.
Burrow himself was at Leeds Rhinos game against Wakefield Trinity at Emerald Headingley on Boxing Day to enjoy all the action as the Rhinos ran out 30-4 winners to win the Wetherby Whaler Festive Challenge. There was plenty of support for Rob in the stand and on the pitch throughout the morning.
Head Groundsman Ryan Golding had ensured that Burrow’s fund was front and centre with a special stencil on the pitch showing virginmoneygiving.com/fund/robburrow either side of half way and in both in goals plus the Rhinos squad wore special t-shirts to show their support for Rob in the warm up.
The effort was matched by Leeds United ahead of their televised Championship clash with Preston North End.
