Rhinos boss Forsell believes Womens game can recover from Covid lockdown
Leeds Rhinos Womens Head Coach Lois Forsell says she believes the Womens Rugby League game can recover from the Covid 19 lockdown but has revealed the sport does face challenges from inside and outside the code.
We caught up with Forsell to ask her thoughts on a recent survey published by the BBC. The BBC Elite British Sportswomen’s Survey was sent to 1,068 women in 39 different sports, including Rugby League, and received 537 responses. It is the third time BBC Sport has carried out the survey. The first one was in 2013 and the second in 2015.
Also this week Ebony Rainford-Brent and Will Greenwood joined Caroline Barker on Sky Sports for a special programme on Wednesday evening to discuss the challenges facing women’s sport in the current climate.
