Kevin Sinfield 7 in 7 – Day four vlog
Kevin Sinfield completed his fourth marathon in four days in an impressive three hours and 44 minutes on Friday as he continues his challenge to complete seven consecutive marathons in a week, all in under four hours.
As if running four marathons back to back so far this week wasn’t a big enough challenge, the weather threw in another hurdle with falling snow and an injury concern for the team.
We were also joined by Ian D Gardner, Head of Development for the Motor Neurone Disease Association. Plus MND Association volunteer Tracy Sanderson from Bradford joins us. She is an Association Visitor who first met the branch when her husband was diagnosed with MND and they received support from the branch. Her husband David died in 2016 and since she has been a member of the branch. She is an Association Visitor and also gives talks to students at Bradford Uni studying Physiotherapy a talk every year about MND. She’s very happy to talk about all this and she is an absolute credit to the branch with all she does. She is also part of a local choir who have recently been practising over zoom and recorded a concert to send to local nursing homes and schools instead of the concerts they would usually do over Christmas.
We also have Rhinos legend Jamie Jones-Buchanan on the call with us as he tells us some great stories involving Rob and Kev and wonders whether he would have enjoyed coaching himself!
