Good news for Walker to mark debut anniversary

Leeds Rhinos star Jack Walker has reflected on the first three years at the club that has seen him become a mainstay of the team, win a Grand Final whilst still a teenager and establish himself as one of the top full backs in the Super League competition.

We caught up with Walker whilst on lockdown and he revealed the battle he is having to make sure he is ready to go once the coronavirus pandemic has passed and the good news he has received from the surgeon this week.

The full back made his debut on this day in 2017, scoring a hat trick in the Challenge Cup win over Doncaster at Headingley. Walker looks back on that day and to finish off the interview, we have dug into the archives and found his post match interview – complete with the signed match ball.
