Agar says Rhinos ready to step preparations

Leeds Rhinos Head Coach Richard Agar says the Rhinos preparations for the new Betfred Super League season will step up a gear in the coming week with the arrival of all the overseas players into training and an opposed training session against York City Knights.

We sat down with the boss to reflect on another strong week of training for the squad and chatted about the return of Luke Briscoe, Alex Sutcliffe and Luke Gale to light training as well as the incredible progress being made by Harry Newman from his double leg break last season.

Agar also congratulated former York player Craig Forsyth, who he has previously coached, after he completed his solo row across the Atlantic Ocean in aid of the MND Association and Sporting Chance earlier this week.
