Debut:
Rugby Union convert Oscar Brown joined the Rhinos as an Academy player during the 2024 season, and quickly became one of the club's rising stars.
After catching the attention of Rhinos Talent ID scouts whilst playing for Harrogate Rugby Union, Brown represented the Rhinos for the first time in a 52-18 win over Hull KR's Under-18s at AMT Headingley before scoring a sensational solo effort in the final game of the season against Bradford Bulls. After completing his trial at the end of the season, Brown's performances earned him a professional contract to stay at the club.
A move into the outside backs in 2025 showcased Brown's true talents as he flourished in Chev Walker's side. He played 11 times for the Under-18s on the way to the Rhinos reaching that year's Grand Final, and was the side's top try scorer with a remarkable 15 tries. His tally included five tries against Bradford in an 80-0 result at Stanningley, as well as four scores in a 64-0 win over Hull KR. In the Reserves competition, he picked up five appearances and six tries, including a hat trick against Salford, as the club went on to lift the Reserve Grand Final trophy. His season once again earned Brown a new contract, as he agreed a one-year deal to remain with the club.
For 2026, he was one of nine players included in the transition group who will train with Brad Arthur's first team squad.
