Leeds Rhinos Women signed prop Jess Sharp from Betfred Women’s Super League side York Valkyrie midway through the 2025 season.

The Hull-born player, who has already made 30 senior appearances, was part of the England DiSE programme and was in the York team that won back to back League Leaders Shields and a Grand Final in 2024. After signing with the Rhinos, she played her first game for the club in a high-scoring 66-4 win over Barrow Raiders at AMT Headingley.

She started playing with her local club Lambwath Lions before representing England Community Lions and Hull KR, where she played alongside current Rhinos player Jenna Greening.  In 2024, she represented England DiSE when they took on Catalans Dragons after two years in the programme.
