Debut: Warrington Wolves (A) 14/07/2024
Honours -
Hooker Ruby Bruce joined the Rhinos from amateur side Dewsbury Moor and is one of six academy players promoted to the first team squad for 2025. She made a try-scoring debut for the first team in a 50-4 away win over Warrington Wolves and went on to make six appearances in total in 2024, coming off the bench in five and starting once.
2025 saw the hooker enjoy a breakout season as she earned a nomination for the Women's Super League's Young Player of the Year and got the opportunity to represent England for the first time. An ever-present in Lois Forsell's side, Bruce made 11 starts in 18 games and scored nine tries across an outstanding season, including crucial scores against St Helens, Huddersfield, Leigh, Warrington and Barrow. Her club form earned the hooker a chance to represent England and she came off the bench in a 62-0 win over Wales in August.
Bruce came through the youth ranks at the Rhinos, and was handed her senior debut off the back of scoring seven tries in five games for the club's Under-19s in the 2024 campaign.
