Grace is one of the many academy prospects in the Leeds squad for 2025 after moving from the academy midway through last year.

A second rower by trade, Short joined the club from Oulton Raidettes, and made eight appearances in the Women’s Super League last year, scoring three tries.

Short was also captain of the England DiSE squad that toured France in 2024. She scored two tries in the victory that included players such as Evie Cousins and Lily Thompson.
