DEBUT:

Half back Harry Smith is one of the key young players that the Rhinos locked down on a long-term deal as the half-back committed to a deal that runs until 2027. 

Scouted alongside a number of his team mates from West Bowling for the club's Scholarship, Smith was a consistent starter across his time in the Under-16s as he featured six times in both the 2022 and 2023 seasons. He scored a try across both seasons too, and was the leading goal scorer in his second Scholarship season with 16.

Moving into the Under-18s as part of a record group of 15 players to step up to the Academy, Smith was one of the first names on the team sheet in the number seven shirt as he continued to form a strong partnership with George Brown. The pair had played alongside each other
