Simon Baynes is a fourth generation wholesale food company specialising in fruit , vegetables, diary and dry goods , we are based in the historic city of york but we deliver everyday to all parts of our beautiful county of Yorkshire, our buisness has grown extensively since our humble days on york market 100 years ago , we now have six temperature controlled vans and over 20 staff working 24 hours in our city centre premises , over the years we have developed close links with rungis market ( Paris ) Manchester, Bradford , Leeds and Hull markets, we also buy direct from the hook of holland ensuring our produce is fresh and very competitively priced , we also work closely with local farms and market gardeners , our diary provider is based in skipton and we have 3 local cheese and charcuterie suppliers on our books , we receive our award winning extra virgin olive oil and olives direct from the continent.
