Full back Ebony Stead was one of six academy players promoted to the first team in the offseason of 2024, before she lit up the Super League competition with a stellar 2025 campaign.
The utility back made her first appearance for the senior team in the 9s tournament in July 2024, before going on to make her mark with a two-try performance on debut against Featherstone Rovers. She made five further appearances that season, scoring three more tries including one in the semi-final defeat to York Valkyrie.
2025 was one of Stead's best season in blue and amber as her tally of 22 tries in all competitions set the club record for the number of tries scored by a player in a single season. She only missed two games as she featured at full back throughout the campaign, and had notable performances when she scored four tries against Warrington and Barrow in consecutive games.
