Half back Ruby Walker joined the Rhinos as an Under-16s player in 2022 and within two years, she made her senior debut for the Rhinos Women's first team.

After starting her junior career with Dewsbury Moor, Walker progressed through the Rhinos ranks to particularly shine during the 2024 Under-19s season when she played all seven games, scored three tries and kicked 19 goals. After featuring in the Rhinos 9s team that year too, the half back made an impact on her Super League debut, scoring two tries and kicking three goals in a 68-6 victory over Featherstone Rovers.

Walker finished the season with four appearances, scoring a total of three tries and six goals, before taking a starting half back shirt for the 2025 season. In her first full senior season with the Rhinos, she made 15 starts and added tries against Leigh and Sheffield in the Cup, aswell as league tries versus the Leopards, Barrow and Huddersfield, plus she was on target with 21 conversions to finish with 70 total points. She capped off the year with an Origin appearance too as she was one of seven Leeds players involved in the Yorkshire squad.
