Frankie Blakey progressed through the Rhinos Academy system to make her first team debut for the Rhinos in 2025.

The hooker joined the club in 2023 and made her Under-19s debut in 2024 in a try-scoring display against Featherstone Rovers. She played scrum half in all but one game that season, accruing three tries before making the move into Lois Forsell's first team during pre-season for 2025. 

Blakey was handed her first team debut in round one of the Betfred Women's Super League season as Forsell named her on the bench in the 20-20 draw against St Helens at the Totally Wicked Stadium. She was also a substitute against York a week later and marked the game with her first senior try against the Valkyrie.
