Forward Leo Aliyu joined Leeds midway through the 2022 season and is currently eligible for the Reserves in 2024.

With the Rhinos, he made his sole appearance of 2022 for the Reserves in a defeat to Hull FC, but 2023 saw Aliyu play 11 times across the Academy and Reserves competitions. Used off the bench in seven out of ten games by Tony Smith, the forward recorded his three tries in consecutive wins against London Broncos and Castleford Tigers, plus his sole Reserves outing came on the road against Wigan in the penultimate game of the year.
