She joined the Rhinos ahead of their first-ever Super League season and was one of the team's most consistent players, featuring in every game and winning the Coach's Player of the Year award. She scored six tries and was part of a strong, dominant forward pack, that helped the Rhinos clinch the League Leaders' Shield. She helped the team secure their spot in the Challenge Cup Final with a try in the semi final win against Wigan, and also featured in the Final to help Leeds collect their first piece of domestic silverware. Her impressive form caught the attention of the international team and she was given made her first England appearance against France at the end of the 2018 season.
After another stellar season in 2019 saw Anderson play in 15 games, including the Challenge Cup and Grand Final wins, injury ruled her out of the whole 2021 season. She had to wait but eventually made her return to action in 2022 as the prop ran out in Leeds' 40-0 win over Warrington in the Challenge Cup, before going on to play in both the Challenge Cup Final defeat to St Helens at Elland Road and Grand Final win over York. To cap off her season, she was named in England Women's World Cup side and featured once off the bench against Canada.
Her fifth season with the Rhinos in 2023 brought more Finals, especially the Challenge Cup Final which saw Anderson walk out at Wembley Stadium as one of the first female rugby league players to play at the venue. Although she battled injury towards the end of the campaign, she played ten times in all competitions and scored her sole try in a 72-0 win over Bradford Bulls in the Challenge Cup group stages.
The Wakefield born player previously played for Oulton Raidettes and went on to win multiple honours with the club, including the Yorkshire Cup Final in 2016. She also represented both county and country, being selected for Yorkshire in 2014 and 2015 and England in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2018 and the delayed 2021 World Cup.
