Leeds Rhinos v Castleford Tigers, Thursday 16th May, kick off 7.45pm

Leeds Rhinos return to Emerald Headingley on Thursday night to face Castleford Tigers in the Betfred Super League. Both teams will be hoping for an upturn in fortunes after bitterly disappointing Challenge Cup exits this weekend.

Take Your Place In History

The £45m re-development finally draws to a close, bringing Emerald Headingley Stadium into the next generation with incredible new facilities for all fans to enjoy on match day for years to come. This match marks the official opening of the North Stand and this is your chance to take your place in history for a very special matchday. In years to come you’ll be able to say “I was there” for the first ever game to take place in front of the brand new North Stand.

Try Out The New Seats

This is your chance to try out the new North Stand before any other fans. With new, modern, comfortable seating with better legroom and uninterrupted views of the pitch, you can take your pick from some great seats in the North Stand still available to buy. There are also seats in the South Stand available to purchase. Seats start from £20 for juniors, from £25 for concessions and from £32 for adults.*

The Pre Match Show

We’ve got great pre match entertainment planned to build up the atmosphere before kick off. On pitch celebrations will begin an hour ahead of kick off with live music and a spectacular pre match show including giant flag displays, fireworks and pyros to welcome the teams onto the pitch.

Fans in all seated areas of the ground will receive a free commemorative flag on their seat to mark the historic occasion, whilst fans in seated areas can pick up their free souvenir flag around the ground before taking to the terraces.

The Derby

It’s game 2 of The Clash and the Tigers’ second visit to Emerald Headingley this year. We all remember how dramatic game 1 was earlier this year, with Brad Dwyer’s iconic golden point drop goal sealing the deal for Leeds, and as far as local derbies go it doesn’t get much bigger than Leeds v Cas. In recent years the rivalry between these two sides has flourished, and Castleford will certainly be looking for revenge next week.

Take your place in history and book your tickets now. As well as the North Stand and South Stand seats, standing tickets are available in the Tetley’s South Stand Terrace, Extentia Terrace or West Terrace for just £12 juniors, £16 concessions and £24 adults.*

Book your place in history and buy online at tickets.therhinos.co.uk, call us on 0371 423 1315 or buy in person at the Ticket Office at Emerald Headingley.

*Concessions = seniors 65 & over, students, disabled and under 21s on production of valid ID. Juniors = 16 & under. Advance prices valid until midnight the day before the game and prices increase by £3 on match day.
