Salford Red Devils v Leeds Rhinos Sunday 12th April, kick off 1pm

It is first versus third this Sunday as Leeds Rhinos travel to Salford’s AJ Bell Stadium for a mouth watering clash with the Red Devils as two of the form teams in the competition go head to head.

Iestyn Harris' side have only lost once in seven games and come into the game on the back of impressive wins over Huddersfield and Wigan during Easter that has seen them propelled above both those sides.

The Red Devils could be without former Rhino Weller Hauraki who picked up a Grade C charge in the win over the Giants and then a Grade B charge after being sent off in the final stages of the victory over Wigan on Easter Monday. The home side could also be without play maker Rangi Chase who will defend a Grade E charge at the RFL disciplinary before Sunday's game. However, the squad assembled by Dr Marwan Koukash will be confident of adding the scalp of the Rhinos to their list of achievements so far this season with Ben Jones-Bishop, Darrell Griffin and Liam Hood all keen to perform against their former club.

Rhinos centre Joel Moon will be hoping to recover from the rib injury he suffered against Wakefield to face his old club whilst his fellow centre Kallum Watkins will be looking to continue his impressive recent form against Salford. In his career he has scored nine tries in nine meetings with the team he served as a ballboy in his school days however that figure includes seven in the last five meetings with a score in each game.

The game is now a 1pm kick to avoid a clash with the Manchester United v Manchester City derby game at Old Trafford, which kicks off at 4pm.

Tickets and travel are now on sale for this game. The tickets are for standing in the North Stand, behind the posts at one end of the ground and seated East Stand along the side.
