Leeds Rhinos Netball confirmed Paige Kindred, 25, as the tenth player to join their new Superleague club for the 2021 Vitality Netball Superleague season.
The Manchester based player joins Leeds from Celtic Dragons on a one-year deal.
Kindred can cover all three defensive positions and previously worked with Rhinos High Performance Director and Head Coach Dan Ryan, during her time with 2019 Superleague champions Manchester Thunder.
She has also played for Superleague franchise Team Northumbria and represented Premier League one side Tameside.
WHAT THE COACH SAYS:
“I’ve worked with Paige before and have seen glimpses of what she’s capable of, but I think she’s certainly ready to break through now and establish herself at this level.”
“She’s such a workhorse in training and games, really hardnosed in her approach and I just love the tenacity and intensity she brings to the court.”
“She’s an uncompromising defender, very annoying and uncomfortable to play against which makes her a really valuable addition to our squad.” Leeds Rhinos High Performance Director and Head Coach, Dan Ryan
