Pontefract-born prop Jake Stones played most of his junior rugby for Oulton Raiders, who have previously produced Leeds players such as Ryan Hall, Jack Walker and Ash Handley. Prior to his selection for the Rhinos scholarship in 2019, he won the Yorkshire Cup Final with his school Carleton High School in 2016.

In 2019, he came off the bench twice for the Rhinos in wins against St Helens and Warrington Wolves and also made an appearance post season against NSW Country Rugby League.

Off the field, Jake’s ideal occupation is a pilot and his favourite matchday song is ‘Lose Yourself’ by Eminem. He would interview boxer Tyson Fury if he could talk to any celebrity and his favourite sportsman is St George Illawarra and England forward James Graham.
