Manchester-born Ged Boylan started playing rugby aged ten after being encouraged by his first coach, Steve Lee, to start. Joining local side Limehurst Lions, he went on to win the North West county league title and Saddleworth play offs, which is one of his most memorable rugby moments.
In his first season under Mark Butterill, the prop is aiming to improve his fitness throughout the year and break into the scholarship side.
Ged is a fan of Bugzy Malone and his favourite sportsman is Anthony Joshua. He would invest his winnings if he won the lottery and if he had tickets to any sporting event in history, he would go back to Leeds’ 2015 Grand Final, where the Rhinos completed the treble.
