Rhinos Netball NPL Squad 2022: Under-17s

Emmanuela Okpala is a part of Leeds Rhinos Netball’s Under-17s squad for the 2021/22 season.
Born in Leeds, Okpala started playing netball out of curiosity and joined YMCA Leeds’ Netball club as a wing defender. In 2021, she successfully trialled for the Rhinos’ Under-17s team and will be coached by Debbie Wright for the upcoming season.
Okpala currents goes to school at Woodhouse Grove, where she also plays netball, and says that her favourite part of a matchday is the coach journey with her school team mates.
