Having been introduced to rugby union at Bradford Salem originally, full back Dylan Proud found his love for rugby league at local side Siddal.
His most memorable moment in the blue and white was scoring a second half hat trick to help his side win a tight league match. For his school, North Halifax Grammar, he has also picked up silverware, winning the Calderdale Cup. A quick player, Proud aims to maintain his speed while also gaining muscle and power in his first year at the Rhinos.
Proud looks up to forward Sam Burgess as his inspiration due to his positive attitude and leadership capabilities. His match day song is No Words by Dave and MoStack and an interesting fact about him is that he has a metal plate in his head. If he could interview any sportsperson, he would choose Leeds Rhinos reserves coach Rob Burrow.
