Debut: vs Wigan Warriors 15/7/18
Honours: Challenge Cup 2018, League Leaders Shield 2018
Chloe Kerrigan emerged through the Women’s Academy in her first season and she earned a place in the first team squad against Wigan before going on to make nine more appearances and earning the number 16 shirt for the 2019 season.
She’s at home in either the centres or second row and is known for her no nonsense attitude and desire in defence. She’s a well liked member of the squad and is improving week on week and she is expected to have a big future in the game.
The young player featured off the bench in the Challenge Cup Final win and she also featured in the Grand Final against Wigan Warriors. She registered two tries, the first coming against St Helens in the league.
The second rower began playing rugby in year 7 whilst a pupil at Corpus Christi Catholic College and it was here that she was coached by her current team mate Lois Forsell, through her role as Women and Girls Development Officer at Leeds Rhinos Foundation.
Prior to joining the Rhinos she was part of the successful women’s side at Oulton Raidettes and last year represented England Colleges. She grew up supporting the Rhinos and says her favourite player is her head coach, Adam Cuthbertson.
