Aimee Staveley joined her hometown club ahead of their first season and was an ever present during the 2018 campaign, making a big impact on the squad. She’s a consistent performer with a great work ethic, she has a good rugby brain and is dangerous in attack

In her 18 games she crossed for three tries, the most memorable coming in the Challenge Cup Final against Castleford when the team made history by winning their first piece of silverware in their first final. Her strength and power has been key for the Rhinos and she has also been pivotal down the right side.

After winning the Plate in 2014 with Stanningley, she joined the Bulls to win the Challenge Cup, League and Grand Final in 2017 and in her first year at the Bulls he was named their forward of the year.  Whilst a student Staveley also represented England Students in 2010.

Her first rugby memory is as an 11 year old training with Stanningley.  She grew up supporting the Rhinos and her favourite player is Sam Burgess.  Away from rugby she works as an Optical Assistant at Specsavers and is also a qualified plasterer.
