Kylie Leuluai is the most successful overseas player in the club’s history having won six Grand Finals, two League Leaders Shields, two World titles and two Challenge Cup Finals between 2007 and 2015.

He made his Rhinos debut on the opening day of the 2007 season against Salford City Reds and finished that season with the first of his six Grand Final appearances, all of which ended in victory.

He played his junior rugby in New Zealand with Papatoetoe Panthers, before joining Balmain where he made his first grade debut in 1999 against Brisbane and went onto to spend one season with the club. From here he enjoyed two seasons with Wests Tigers, before joining Sydney Roosters in 2002.

In 2003 he signed for Parramatta. After one season with the Eels he signed for Manly Sea Eagles, where he spent three seasons before deciding to move to Super League with the Rhinos.

In 2006 he made his debut for Samoa having previously represented New Zealand at U19 level and the New Zealand Maoris in the 2000 World Cup. In 2012 he also was selected to play for the Exiles in the Origin game against England.

He made 264 appearances for the Rhinos in total, making him the longest serving New Zealander in the club’s history and the second longest serving overseas players only behind the legendary Eric Harris in the all time list.
