Full back Zak Hardaker first signed a five-year contract with Leeds in 2010 after impressing at Featherstone Rovers. In his first season, he scored eleven tries, including one in the Grand Final against St Helens, and earned his place among the starting squad in the 2012 World Club Challenge, Challenge Cup Final and Grand Final. He won the Challenge Cup in 2014, but the full back’s best season came in 2015 when he earned the honour of Man of Steel in Leeds’ treble-winning campaign.
Following the highs of 2015, Hardaker made a midseason move to NRL side Penrith Panthers in 2016 before signing permanently with Castleford for 2017, where he formed a formidable partnership with Luke Gale and Ben Roberts to give the Tigers their first League Leaders title. He moved to Wigan in 2019 but returned to Leeds after being released from the Warriors and agreed to a short-term contract with the club for the remainder of the 2022 season. Slotting straight into Rohan Smith's side, Hardaker played 18 times between full back and centre as the Rhinos reached the Grand Final for the first time in five years. On the completion of the season, he moved to the newly promoted Leigh Leopards.
