The Rhinos match day experience is about much more than 80 minutes of rugby. Turnstiles are open from 5pm tomorrow and there is plenty of entertainment on offer as well as the big game.

Pre Match entertainment

Get to Emerald Headingley early and you will see live musical acts, the Heart Yorkshire Dance team or even more live rugby, with Academy, student and representative games often played as the curtain raiser.

As always, Ronnie the Rhino will make his famous entrance pre match with his lucky mascot, and there will be performances on the Emerald Headingley pitch from the Heart Yorkshire Dance Team.

Around the Stadium

There is lots of free family entertainment taking place all around the ground, including a free rodeo bull for fans to have a spin on in the South Stand, a bouncy castle by the West Terrace and free face painting and balloon twisting on offer in the Carnegie Café Bar.

Visit the Heart Family Zone

The Carnegie Café Bar is open to all as a public family area on match day. Choose the Champions Choice Kids Menu with a main course, carton of juice or water and a cookie or piece of fruit, priced at just £5! There are also children’s activities on offer in the Café Bar including free face-painting and balloon twisting, a visit from Ronnie the Rhino, a mini disco and Rhinos activity sheets making this the perfect family zone.

Half Time Mini Rugby

During half time at each Rhinos home game we host mini rugby matches. If you would like to book in your team to play in one of these matches please contact Sam Horner at sam.horner@leedsrhinosfoundation.org

Community Performances

If you belong to a community group and would like to come and perform on the pitch in front of thousands of fans or around the ground to showcase your work email james.eaton@leedsrugby.com or call 0113 2033285. In the past we have had dance groups, gymnasts, flag wavers, marching bands, martial arts displays, choir groups and majorettes.
