Leeds Rhinos

2017 Super League Champions

Biography

HI I’M ROXY! THIS IS MY FOURTH YEAR ON THE DANCE TEAM AND I COULDN’T BE HAPPIER TO JOIN THE GIRLS AGAIN, AS I’VE ALWAYS HAD A PASSION FOR DANCE AND HAVE WANTED TO BE ON THE TEAM SINCE I WAS YOUNG. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED DANCING LAST SEASON AND CANNOT WAIT TO DANCE AGAIN THIS SEASON!

I have been dancing since I was three doing ballet, street dance, modern and various other styles, I haven’t stopped since!

I attended Northern School of Contemporary dance, which increased my passion for performing and led me to study Performing Arts doing singing, dancing and acting for my degree at Leeds Metropolitan University. I loved this so much that I decided to create my own business; Roxy School of Performing Arts to carry on performing and teaching to children. I absolutely love my new venture, motivating and encouraging children to live their dreams!

I am happy and positive in almost everything, if ever anything goes wrong I can always see the silver lining. I’m a big believer in being optimistic.

Like every girl I love shopping and in my spare time I enjoy designing and making clothes. I volunteer teaching children each week at my local church, as I am a devout Christian which belief I share with Super League player Kylie Leuluai. As well as performing in my spare time, I love spending time with my family and friends, as I am a big family orientated girl!

I look forward to embracing this amazing opportunity, working with a fantastic dance squad for another year!

So excited for this season! Good luck to the Rhinos!
