Job Opportunity: Leeds Rhinos Mens Scholarship Strength and Conditioning Coach
We have an exciting S & C opportunity within our junior pathways Rugby League program. The successful candidate will lead in, and aid in the delivery of our boys’ U15s and U16s Scholarship strength and conditioning program.
Priding our club on developing junior players for our senior teams, the successful candidate will work alongside our Lead Men's Youth S+C in delivering a high-quality physical development program. Working within a multidisciplinary support team the successful candidate will play an important role in the athletic development of our men’s scholarship players. As well as being able to learn from and develop their S+C knowledge and coaching under our full-time S+C staff. Aligning in principles and standards set by our Head Strength and Conditioning coach.
Responsibilities:
- Aiding in the delivery of the u15s and u16s gym sessions
- Leading field-based warmups.
- Progression to eventually leading in the programming of our u15s men’s strength and power program.
- Leading field-based speed and agility session
- Leading field-based energy system development sessions.
Required qualifications, skills & experience
- Minimum of an BSc or equivalent in Sport Science and/or Strength and Conditioning.
- Experience of working within youth athletic development coaching.
Time Requirements for the role:
The role we are advertising is 6 hours per week, covering one evening session, and a Saturday morning session each week.
- 1 night per week, from 5pm session start time, to 8pm session finish time.
- 1 Saturday morning each week, working from 7am session start time, to 10am session finish time.
The start date for this role will be November 2026, and the season will end August 2027. With a review thereafter.
