The annual Leeds Rhinos Awards Dinner takes place at Headingley Stadium on Monday 7th September and the club are inviting fans to pick out their favourite tries from the 2026 season.

In a change to previous years, 2026 will see fans vote over two stages to decide who walks away with the 2026 Try of the Year, sponsored by Leeds Building Society. The outcome of this first round of voting from a shortlist of 15 tries will decide the top five tries that will proceed through to the final round, where fans can vote again to decide which try wins the top prize.

This year's shortlist is dominated by star winger Maika Sivo, who has three nominations for tries against Hull KR, Wakefield and Castleford. Alongside the winger's effort from Allegiant Stadium, Cooper Jenkins and Ryan Hall's tries from the Vegas win are included, as well as Cameron Smith's score against Wakefield, Brodie Croft's try against Hull FC, Ash Handley's long-range effort against Bradford and Lachie Miller's chip and chase try versus Huddersfield from Brad Arthur's first team.

Leeds Rhinos Women are well represented with three tries from Mel Howard and Ruby Enright's tries from the Challenge Cup, as well as Connie Boyd's score against Saints lead the nominations from Lois Forsell's side. Into the youth ranks, Jeremiah Mata'utia's rampaging effort for the Reserves earns a spot, as well as top tries from rising Academy stars Sonny Hetherington and Millie Sadler.

The vote closes at 12pm on Sunday 30th August so be quick to vote for your favourite. Fans are only allowed to vote for one try. The top five tries from the shortlist will be unveiled on Monday for fans to decide the winning try for 2026.
