Welcome to The Great Festive Mix-Up! 

Every year, as soon as the Boxing Day celebrations are over, Santa and his elves begin planning their next visit to Leeds for the annual Wetherby Whaler Festive Challenge. 

But this year, one of the elves has made a rather important mistake… they’ve mixed up the dates and scheduled Christmas for August instead of December! 

Now, Santa’s elves, The Grinch, Frozen favourites Elsa and Anna, Rudolph and all their friends are heading to AMT Headingley to bring some midsummer madness and early festive fun – this time, in the sun! 

For one day only, Christmas is coming to summer, with snowball fights in August, a princess parade with Anna and Elsa, reindeer roaming AMT Headingley and The Grinch causing festive mischief. 

And best of all, junior tickets are just £5!

For just £5*, juniors aged 16 and under can enjoy all the action from any area of the ground. 

Adult tickets start from £26, with concessions from £21.

*The £5 junior ticket offer is available until midnight on Wednesday 12th August. 

What's On 

There’s plenty happening around AMT Headingley before the game, so make sure you arrive early and enjoy the full Great Festive Mix-Up experience! 

Stadium gates open at 5pm, with plenty of entertainment getting underway around the ground. 

Supporters arriving early can also enjoy Happy Hour, with half-price draught pints available from 5pm until 6pm at all public bars. 

There will be a wide range of food options available around the stadium, including burgers, pizza, fish and chips and more. 

Please note, all bars and concessions inside the stadium are card only. 

South Stand 

Head to the South Stand for free face painting and balloon modelling, perfect for getting into the festive spirit! 

You can also meet Anna and Elsa from Frozen for a frosty photo opportunity – and maybe even a warm hug or two from your favourite sisters. 

Feeling brave? 

Head along to meet the experts from Captivating Creatures and get up close and personal with some fascinating snakes and creepy crawlies. 

It’s a hands-on experience that’s sure to be a hit with our bravest supporters! 

Courtyard 

Ronnie the Rhino will be ready and waiting for photos outside the Club Shop before taking to the pitch for his famous Ronnie Dive. 

And keep an eye out for Rudolph and his reindeer friends, who will be making a special appearance in the Courtyard! Get up close, say hello and grab a festive photo with some very special visitors. 

The Grinch will also be in attendance, and he’s not exactly thrilled about Christmas coming to Leeds in August, so expect plenty of festive mischief, hilarious antics and a few surprises along the way! 

Leeds Rhinos Reserves v Hull FC Reserves  

The rugby action gets underway with Leeds Rhinos Reserves taking on Hull FC Reserves, kicking off at 5.15pm 

The Great AMT Headingley Snowball Fight 

Think snowball fights are just for winter? Think again! 

Before the main event, Ronnie the Rhino and The Grinch will be heading onto pitch for The Great AMT Headingley Snowball Fight. 

Junior supporters who have purchased the Snowball Fight upgrade will have the chance to take part in a giant snowball battle on the pitch – bringing a little bit of winter to our summer Family Day! 

Great Festive Mix-Up Fancy Dress Parade  

It wouldn’t be a Great Festive Mix-Up without a fancy dress parade!  

We want to see your best fancy dress, whether you're rocking a princess gown, channelling your inner Jedi, dressing as your favourite superhero or going all-out Christmas, we want to see you there! 

Dust off your costumes, polish your tiaras and get ready to parade around the pitch. 

Meet at the John Holmes statue in the South Stand car park for a 7.15pm start. 

DAZL 

DAZL Dance Team take to the pitch for a special pre-match performance. Make sure you're in your seats to catch their routine before the action gets underway!  

Leeds Rhinos v Leigh Leopards  

The Rhinos take on Leigh Leopards at 8pm in another important Betfred Super League clash at AMT Headingley. 

Half-Time 

There’s plenty more happening at half-time, with our junior players taking centre stage on the pitch. 

We’ll also be introducing our new intake of scholarship and academy players for next season, giving supporters the chance to welcome the next generation of Rhinos. 

Leeds Rhinos Gold Members 

Gold Members can access the Long Bar by showing their Gold Season Membership card. 

Non-members can purchase a pass for £5 from the Leeds Rhinos Ticket Office transfer windows inside the ground, next to the Club Shop.  

Festive Games!

There’ll be plenty of festive fun to get involved with around the stadium with Wolf Competitions!  

Try your luck at Reindeer Hoopla or test your Christmas knowledge by finishing a festive song lyric – get it right and you could be a winner!
