Discover Rhinos Access at AMT Headingley
As Leeds Rhinos celebrate their annual Inclusion Round this Friday, the club are proudly shining a spotlight on Rhinos Access - the dedicated accessibility scheme designed to help ensure every supporter can enjoy matchdays at AMT Headingley.
Whether you're a lifelong Rhinos fan or visiting for the very first time, the aim is simple: to make the game and the stadium accessible, welcoming and enjoyable for all.
Supporting Every Fan
The Rhinos understand that every supporter has different needs, which is why Rhinos Access offers a wide range of services and facilities to help make matchdays as comfortable and stress-free as possible.
Support available includes:
-
Sensory bags, available to borrow free of charge, containing a range of sensory items designed to support supporters who may benefit from additional sensory regulation during the game.
-
Ear defenders to help reduce noise levels inside the stadium.
-
The Rhinos Access Passport, allowing supporters to discreetly communicate any accessibility requirements to our matchday staff and stewards without having to explain them each time.
-
Accessible seating and dedicated wheelchair viewing areas.
-
Companion tickets for supporters who require assistance attending matches.
-
Accessible toilets and Changing Places facilities to ensure fans with complex needs can enjoy their visit comfortably.
-
Assistance from our trained matchday staff, who are on hand throughout the stadium to provide support whenever it's needed.
-
A comprehensive Visitors Guide, helping supporters plan their journey before arriving at the stadium.
More Than Just Facilities
Rhinos Access is about far more than physical accessibility, it's about creating an environment where every supporter feels welcome, respected and able to enjoy the excitement of a Leeds Rhinos matchday in the way that suits them best.
From quieter support through sensory equipment to practical accessibility services and dedicated matchday assistance, the club is continually working to remove barriers so that everyone can be part of the Rhinos family.
Celebrating Inclusion Round
Inclusion Round is an opportunity to highlight the importance of accessibility across our sport and celebrate the work being done to ensure Rugby League is a game for everyone.
The club is proud of the progress made through Rhinos Access, but are equally committed to continuing to listen, learn and improve their offering for supporters.
If you or someone you're attending with could benefit from any of our accessibility services, please find out more ahead of your visit.
