Getting to know: Hull KR
In the side's first meetings since round three's showdown in Las Vegas, Leeds Rhinos host Hull KR at AMT Headingley in what is set to be the biggest home matchup of the season
Here's a closer look at the Robins:
Key Playmakers
Mikey Lewis
Club Apps: 150 | Points: 646
No Hull KR player will be more up for taking on the Rhinos after the Vegas defeat than half-back Lewis as he looks to produce a similar performance at AMT Headingley to the one that saw the Robins spark a comeback in last year's round nine game.
Currently the side's leading try scorer, his partnership with Tyrone May allows Lewis the freedom to be a direct runner and take on a defensive line at every possibility whilst May marshals and assists tries for the Robins. Lewis' attacking strengths are the key as no other half back in the league has more tackle breaks, line breaks, metres and carries than him after 16 games, whilst his kicking game also ranks in the top five halves for frequency, and total kick metres.
Jack Broadbent
Club Apps: 63 | Tries: 33
Formerly of the Rhinos' Academy system, Broadbent has been handed a chance for regular appearances in Hull KR's back line whilst Arthur Mourgue remains sidelined.
Initially swapped with Corey Hall whilst at Castleford Tigers, the versatile outside back has found his spot at full back and returned nine tries. A two-time try scorer in the round nine game against Leeds last year, he is also out for an improved performance from the one at Allegiant Stadium, but has largely enjoyed one of his best seasons. He has the most tackle breaks, carries and metres in 15 Super League rounds compared to the last three campaigns.
Tom Amone
Club Apps: 18 | Tries: 4
Signed as the replacement to Jared Waerea-Hargreaves, Amone's record in Super League was already well known before he was announced publicly last year.
A standout at Leigh under Adrian Lam as part of the Leopards side that earned promotion to the top division in 2022, the prop earned a chance to return to the NRL with Canterbury in 2025 but was quickly back in the UK on loan with Castleford. After 15 games and one try at The OneBore Stadium, he made the perfect start to his Robins career with a try in the World Club win over Brisbane and has returned a futher three tries in 18 games.
